Vermont is in maple syrup season. Sugaring season runs from late February to early April. My first photo is a local sugar house. My town gives away maple syrup from a local farm to new residents at our annual town meeting 馃檪
Here's a portrait of a Red Maple in the fog. You can tap several different types of maple trees but Sugar Maples have the highest concentration of sugar.
These pine cones caught my eye the other day on a hike.
The next four photos are all of the same spot on Lake Dunmore in Addison County, Vermont. The weather changes daily in Vermont during March. There are often reflections at this spot in the morning calm.
Usually you need some blue skies for a good reflection, but sometimes you get enough light even in the fog.
Ripples on the lake and clouds in the sky on this day.
The background disappeared into the fog on this afternoon. Have a great Friday 馃憤
