It was a beautiful day at the lake yesterday afternoon. Dramatic sky and smooth lake reflecting it back. This is the marina on Lake Dunmore. A small lagoon with a pass leading out into the lake.
White pines stand out against the sky and reflect on the surface of the lagoon.
The marina is always full. Lots of pontoons, small fishing boats, and a few ski boats. They share the lake with a few sail boats and lots of personal watercraft.
The sky was really nice yesterday. This view looking north shows more of the marina. There is a place to buy fuel on the dock. The dock also leads into a small bar and grill - Paddler's Pub.
Looking south there is a tall pine that centers the view.
I took this picture standing on the public boat launch. There was actually a greeter working the launch today. The "greeter" actually inspects the boats and provides boaters with local information and regulations.
The marina is called Waterhouse's. In addition to Paddler's Pub, there is a small store and a beach.
Here's the beach. All trends eventually make it to Vermont 😆 The oversized Adirondack chair for pictures and the rainbow colors assortment of Adirondack chairs are fixtures at resorts/vacation destinations all over the Northeast.
These puffy white clouds are what I first noticed on our walk. They gave me the idea that I should slow down and take a few pictures. Hope you enjoyed them. Have a great day 😎
