I've shot Lake Beeac a few times, (Lake Beeac is in Western Victoria, about an hour and half outside of Melbourne for those of you who like to know these sorts of things) Most of the time I choose to present the shots in black and white, there is something about the dry lake bed with it's crack that feel desolate and from a old western movie so it seems appropriate to have the colour removed.
But then again for these three shots I was there at Sunset and there was a sun sky that decided that it would put on a show and that show was in full technicolor so you have to present it that way, admittedly looking back at these one of the shots is blown out a little, the sun itself is over exposed, but I do feel that on balance they are shots worth showing
