Today's post is a collection of photos from my Monday. First a lovely mushroom growing in the forest. I was hauling a wheelbarrow full of yard waste into the woods to dump and saw this beauty.
I've posted lots of Blackeyed Susan pictures this summer but this one especially caught my eye. It is growing between some clumps of ornamental grass. Late summer has turned the grass brown framing the yellow flowers nicely.
Purple coneflowers are holding on but looking a little ragged.
My dahlias are going strong. They are one of the last flowers I have to bloom. This picture caught some morning dew still on the bloom.
I love taking photos but beyond the photography I use photos to keep track of my yard. I don't think I have posted any photos of my sedum or live forever. I got these from my family in Kansas that had transplanted them from my uncles place in Wisconsin. They are well travelled 馃槅
Enjoying the summer with tomatoes and basil from the garden. I put these on some eggs this morning.
After finishing up outside, I was looking at my photos and I think this mushroom may be a wine cap @sketch.and.jam ?
I'll finish the post with a picture I take everyday. Lake Dunmore.
