Our Champions for the Week:

These two cities have nothing in common. And there is a reason for that. Haskovo is an old and well-established settlement that was so important in the past and during Turkish slavery that its name actually means 'special village'. And the city that I show you here, this economic and architectural marvel - Dimitrovgrad, was built only in 1947 on the basis of three villages. So its architecture cannot be compared to that of Haskovo.

The village of Ola was formed in 1875. Before the start of the occupation, 168 people lived there, but by the time of the last day of existence, the population reached 1,758 people. Mostly they were immigrants from neighboring villages. Now there is a forest on the site of the village, and the fact that people have ever lived here is reminiscent of a memorial complex. The territory is divided into three zones: entrance, memorial and walking route.

It is an old wooden bridge, built in 1876, whose romantic and warm atmosphere is a reason for many couples to visit. According to legend, if you make a wish and manage to cross the platform while holding your breath, your wish will come true. My beloved wife, my granddaughter and my son ventured to cross the bridge, she made a wish but she did not reveal it to me, she keeps it a secret so that it comes true,
