Here's my entry to the Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 207 - 76 HIVE in the Prize Pool!
When I saw the basic picture, I first thought of New York at the beginning of the twentieth century when huge ships carried migrants from everywhere to the Promised Land as it was called ... then I thought of Alice in Wonderland, how did she feel in the unknown? I don't know if I got the right answer. Strange, anyway.
Maybe I should have said earlier that I was thinking about this when washing my brushes with Nitro thinner, which is very intoxicating... 😵💫

The creation process
I made this collage in Photoshop.
I erased all but the most prominent object from the base image and colored it. Then I added the forest as a background, taken from the drone, and applied a swirl filter.
All the other elements were first edited with different effects and filters and added to the collage in layers.
