Mi hija y yo no pudimos evitar unas carcajadas.

💎Greetings, my friends.✨ I hope you're all doing well. Today I return to this community to share this little tale with you. I hope you like it.

APPEARANCES

That morning, I went out with my daughter to buy her a pair of sneakers for school. How hard it is to please a teenager! No shoe seemed right. The ones she liked didn’t fit, and the ones that fit, she didn’t like. A police car with license plate 69 passed us and honked. The driver gave me a mischievous smile, and I smiled back the same way.

Thirsty from the heat, and after wandering half the city in vain, we went to a café for some soda. The vendor, very kindly, explained they had no water to wash the glasses, so it was impossible to serve drinks. I looked up to the sky, praying for patience and mercy, then looked ahead and saw a Bar.

I crossed the street and asked the young attendant to lend me two glasses, but he said no—the only thing he could do was lend me two empty beer bottles, on the condition that I return them. Of course I took them, after handing over my ID card as collateral.

I went back, filled the bottles with soda, and we sat on a bench near the café. Several people looked at us with indignant eyes, condemning "my bad attitude." Meanwhile, we laughed without restraint at their astonished faces. I refilled the bottles and sat on the bench once more. Prying stares burned into my skin, but no one dared to say anything until two young men approached.

_Ma’am, you’re irresponsible. That girl is too young to be drinking beer!

My daughter and I couldn’t help but burst out laughing. Then I explained what had happened to the well-meaning young men, and we laughed together. Just when I thought everything was cleared up, the patrol car with plate 69 appeared, and the same policeman stood ready with his ticket pad to fine me.

Yes, that’s her said an elderly woman.

_This isn’t what it looks like_I said, a bit nervously.

To my relief, and without giving me time to explain, the soda vendor noticed the misunderstanding and rushed over to defend me. The officer—a man with an attractive build and a well-fitted uniform—had sweat dripping down his temples. Luckily, there was still a little soda left in my bottle. I reached out and asked him in a flirtatious voice:

_Do you want a sip too?
