After having a guilty pleasure in my latest post with the completed missions in the Week 4: Gendarmerie from CS:GO Series where I opened a case and got a new skin for my character, it looks like I'm going to enjoy some gaming time in the The Crew 2 as well, since the banner reminds me of Ghost Rider which I really loved.
When it comes to motorcycles and adrenaline, I can call myself a maniac because one of my biggest dreams is to have a motorbike one day just because I feel more and more addicted by adrenaline and living life to the fullest. So the new Live Summit from TC2 came right in time for some fun gaming sessions on two wheels!
Let's not wait any longer and check out the missions and then... speed up!
The new Live Summit is called SF Ghost Tour and will be available from 27th October until 3rd November with the following missions:
- Slalom - where you have to make a slalom between various obstacles placed on the water in the shortest time possible and collect at least 4,150 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Speedtrap - being needed to pass a section on the road with a speed bigger than 200 km/h. [No Restriction Race]
- Aerobatics - where you need to fly a plane and get through some gates matching the figures shown and score at least 2,650 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Powerboat - a chilling drive with a specific boat on the water where you need to reach Top 3 in order to qualify further. [Offshore Mk1 required]
- Street - a 5 minutes long race against the other 7 players where you need to reach Top 3 to win the race. [Kombi Ghost Hunt Edition required]
- Touring - a race held in the street instead of a circuit as it usually happens where you need to finish the race faster than 5:11 minutes. [No Restriction Race]
- Alpha Grand Prix - a race with open-wheel cars where you have to cross the finish line in one of the first 3 positions to win the race. [No Restriction Race]
- Street - a secondary street race you need to play and finish the trail faster than 4:50 minutes to win it. [No Restriction Race]
- Monster Truck - one of those races where you drive a beast of a car but which is quite slow and innocent actually. You need to cross the finish line in the Top 3 in this case as well. [No Restriction Race]
Just like in my previous post I only needed to purchase one vehicle this time, which was a Kombi Ghost Hunt Edition required on the 4th mission of the current Live Summit. This one cost me around 450,000 bucks and I really enjoyed playing with it, since I own around 2 similar vehicles that I used to drive in other races as well. It's incredible how much speed these can get compared with other cars that look more sporty.
The most challenging race was the last one because I had to drive a Monster Truck vehicle on a trail that is usually for Street cars and the curves are visibly not so advantageous as they would seem for a normal car. Personally, I hate the curves on 90 degrees even when I drive a common car or bike... now just imagine doing that with a Monster Truck where a single wheel is as big as a normal car.
A similar situation was for the Touring race that was held on the street and not on the circuit as it usually happens but which I finished with a nice score from the first try, yay!
I usually don't have problems scoring at least 100,000 points for the Speedtrap races but now I tried for like 8 times and I couldn't get a closer score than 92,000 points. This is because of the street that even though it was straight, there were lots of bumps on the road that made the car fly and lose speed on the impact with the asphalt.
However, looking at the score and all the missions completed, I can say that was a pretty good day without encountering too many difficult situations other than these mentioned already. š
In plus, since the event is covering Halloween day, some of the races are quite thematic with spooky sound effects, giant trees, mystic rides, thunderstorms, distinct colours than the usual ones and stickers on the cars like "Paranormal problems?", "Contact us now!" - which I found quite funny and a nice way to keep the boredom away. Basically, all the ingredients needed to celebrate Halloween! š¬
Anyway, it looks like there are only 6 days left until the new season of Motorspass is released, which is going to bring some more action into this game that can be enjoyed daily and not weekly, and I can't wait for that! I'm really curious to see what news they will bring and what rewards we are going to enjoy for the character and cars personalization.
