With the new Live Summit released this week called Lucha Libre is literally impossible not to imagine yourself being on a beach where there are at least 25Ā°C and you are drinking a Cuba Libre with some ice, isn't it?
At least this is what I imagined with the title of the new event that was just released, as well as the races that came with a totally new aspect which gives a plus to the thoughts of being on vacation.
As we like diversity in our glasses when we are drinking a cocktail, the diversity of the races is also a great mix that anyone would enjoy no matter on which part of the world they are living.
Though, let's better analyze each race the Lucha Libre Live Summit brought to us, which can be completed between 15-22 December before a new one will be released:
- Buoy Smashing - a pretty rare race during the Live Summits but where you can enjoy driving a boat while collecting at least 5,480 points by hitting different floating objects on the water. [No Restriction Race]
- Escape - where you have to drive away from a specific area at least 620 meters before the time runs out. [No Restriction Race]
- Aerobatics - being needed to fly a plane and get through different gates by following a specific position on-air and collect at least 2,350 points to qualify further. [No Restriction Race]
- Street - a pretty basic race on the streets driving a specific car where you are needed to position yourself on one of the Top 3 places. [GTO The Judge required]
- Monster - not one of the most common races but where you are driving a specific Monster Truck an have to collect at least 15,000 points getting through various coins of different values. [370Z Nismo required]
- Demolition Derby - another uncommon race where you step on a real arena and have to hit the other players to gain enough points to make you get one of the first 3 positions. [No Restriction Race]
- Hyper - as its name says, you will drive one of those powerful and expensive cars where you are needed to finish the race in Top 3. [Aventador LP 700-4 required]
- Monster - another race driving a Monster Truck but which it's held on one of the previous seasons' trails and where you still need to do acrobatics in order to collect at least 23,000 points and have the race marked as completed. [No Restriction Race]
- Rally - ending the event with another off-road race where you are driving a Rally car against other players that are using monster cars. You still need to reach the Top 3 places to win the race. [VW Beetle required]
It's sad that we don't meet the Buoy Smashing races during the Live Summits too often but it's definitely a great way to start the new event because all you have to do is to drive a boat on the water and collect points. While in most of the races having a powerful boat with a lot of speed is important, this time we are talking about a boat that should be as big as possible so it has a large area covering the points on the water, as well as being easy to handle it when you take a curve.
The other races are pretty often met during these weekly events, except the Monster ones where as I said we are talking about a completely different type of races and vehicles with huge wheels that you won't ever see on the streets, lol.
The first mission with this type of car was on an area where you have to jump on different ramps and climb walls to collect points that have to exceed the 15,000 mark before the time expires.
The 2nd race with a Monster Truck vehicle is part of a previous season where again the trail is arranged differently and where you have to make acrobatics with the car to gain points.
For example, you have to take advantage of every ramp you jump and do backflips. Quite interesting, huh? š
There's nothing too interesting with the other races, except if you don't own the vehicles yet and have to buy them which will enlarge the collection of vehicles you have. Personally, I needed only two more cars where each cost around 360,000 bucks, so I'm definitely happy to add something new in my garage!
Oh, and let's not forget about that Demolition Derby race which is completely satisfying if you like hitting other cars with yours and gain points for that, lol! š
