The more we enjoy this week, the more I realize that my gaming sessions are full of surprises!
This is right in time for a new Live Summit in The Crew 2 which is mostly dedicated to the Chevrolet cars, hence why the name of the event being Chevrolet Addict.
And who doesn't love this brand of cars? I sure do!
From old school muscle cars, to classics and those luxury cars that not everyone affords purchasing, there is plenty to do in the game with the Chevrolet cars!
I know that I probably made you curious about the cars Chevrolet is offering other than these we usually see on the streets in real life, so wait no more and let's see what this week Live Summit called Chevrolet Addict brought to us, that will run from 8-15th December with the following races:
- Slalom - an off-road race where you have to make a slalom between different objects placed on the ground and collect at least 6,150 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Slalom - similar to the previous one but where the race is held on the specific area on the map and where you also have to collect no less than 5,090 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Speedtrap - being needed to cross an area on the radar with a speed no less than 200 km/h. [No Restriction Race]
- Rally - a pretty common off-road race of rally where you have to cross the finish line faster than 05:46:000 minutes to qualify further. [Chevrolet Camaro RS required]
- Street - similar to the previous race but where the race is held on streets and where you have to finish the race in the Top 3. [Chevrolet 3100 required]
- Rally Raid - another off-road race but where you are not forced to use a specific car. You need to finish the race before the time gets to 05:57:000 minutes. [No Restriction Race]
- Drift - as its name says, you will have to make drifts on a specific area and score at least 20,000 points to qualify further. [Chevrolet Corvette Stingray required]
- Touring - a race held on a circuit where you have to cross the finish line in Top 3. [Chevrolet Corvette C6R required]
- Street - ending the event with another race held on the streets and no specific car to be driven but where you also have to cross the finish before 05:32:000 minutes. [No Restriction Race]
As you probably have seen, there are four races where we are required to drive specific cars created by the Chevrolet brand, which is also a right moment to add some more gems on four wheels on your collection if you enjoy having a bunch of cars in this type of games.
In plus, there is also a drift race which is quite rare during the Live Summits but where is going to have no mercy and ask for a lot of points to hit that 100,000 pts goal I've set to myself. Even though the race is requiring only 20,000 points to have it marked as completed, you need at least 5x times more points than the goal I hardly achieve, lol. Hence why you won't see it with over 100,000 points as a score. The record to this race is actually set by another player who scored over 850,000 points.
The speedtrap was a little bit more challenging than usual due to the place where it was held and the plenty of cars you could find both on the street and in the parking lot, but happily, after just 3 restarts of the race, I managed to reach the score desired.
However, by far I can say that my favourite races from this event were the slalom ones because I absolutely love doing that move with any vehicle, between different objects placed on the ground! There are the races which actually didn't need any restart because I hit the goal from the first try.
Anyway, as much fun as we had with the Live Summit that was just released, it's hard to forget about The Contractor season which began 3 weeks ago and I can be proud of myself that I already reached the maximum level into it!
Of course this didn't come with no rewards, because I added a few more things in my inventory which I really like, as well as the vehicle you see on the picture from above. And I honestly can't wait to see what the new episode of this season it will bring to us.
I managed to complete them faster than I would if I was only doing the 5x daily challenges which would level me up just once, by also completing the 2x weekly challenges where each of them takes you two levels further. Cheers to that!
