So many memories, so many good and bad things happen in life.
The memory that I will share today, and for which I am always grateful, is for one of the most emotional trips that I made to the island of Margarita together with my father and my big brother.

This was the last time we travel with my dad to Margarita to thank life and death. We visited the Minor Basilica of Our “Lady of the Valley” (Señora del Valle) where we attend mass and seek to bless my mother's ashes, but I don’t remember if we could, either way we ask to “Virgen del Valle” for her, for our family and we thanks her for watching over us. We sat on the square and chatted, told stories of previous visits, also we talked about old parties where my parents went when they were young and of course, we ate sweets.

We went to Juan Griego, which is the hometown of my father, visited several relatives that I did not know and we had lunch in front of the sea near sunset. And this is a beautiful memory because we had a lot of time without sharing my brother, my dad and I with absolute calm. Also every morning I remember we were going for a walk on “El agua” (The water) beach to take pictures, talk and sunbathe.

In general that trip was very emotive and satisfying, I learn more about my father’s family, we laugh a lot and we cry as well, but it was full of moments with calm and peace just
observing the landscape and that makes me remember that everything is fine. I have not been able to go to the island for 4 years, now more than ever I want to go back, I wish when the actual mundial situation ends (and my financial situation changes too) may I come back again and thanks to Our lady of the valley (la Virgen del Valle) once again for everything.
