@elecris05,
@aurodivys y
@yelimarin, compañeras de comunidad.
Hello friends of
@home.solutions and #hive, I hope everyone is feeling great. Today on the island the weather has been very good because it rained during the early morning and when it cooled down I took the opportunity to continue working on my kids' room, so this is my participation in Challenge 2 of the challenge which consists of reorganizing and doing a deep cleaning. In case you haven't heard about the challenge yet, I invite
@elecris05,
@aurodivys and
@yelimarin, fellow community members, to participate.
For this challenge I was already ahead with something because last week I took the opportunity to change the furniture, mostly to air the wall that has moisture, and put the room as it was designed at the beginning and I do not remember why we changed it, but in the photos you can see that it was not a good idea because it took away space and also covered practically everything that my wife painted on the wall, so the day I was taking out the things they do not use I moved everything.
This set of my children's room has more than 10 years, we bought it financed when my daughter Miranda was about to be born, at that time it was a strong expense, but as it could be paid by part we did it and it was a great decision because they are in perfect condition. The good thing is that as it is modular you can organize it as you want.
Miranda's side fits everything together, so I moved it carefully piece by piece and then I organized Matías' side, but since there is a beam in the middle it doesn't fit completely, so I put the closet in front of the bed, which also looks great. Notice that this way his room looks bigger.
The other thing I did was to take out a big piece of furniture from when they were little because they used to fill it with garbage and I put in a desk that was in another room and now they have a place to do homework and school work, keep their papers, colors and everything they use for that.
After everything was in its place, it was time to clean, I took everything out, but my wife is the one who puts order on the shelves, I also cleaned the walls, because as the furniture was covering, everything had like a white layer and with a cloth with detergent I removed all that.
Then what was left was to organize the board games in a corner, although thinking about it, I think there is space inside the closets, but I don't think they look bad there.
With the cleaning done and the relocation of all the furniture I would like to paint at least the bottom part because my kids don't want to remove the Super Mario mural, and I also want to paint the desk to match the room, let's see what we can do because first I have to repair the damage of the wall that is also in our room, and worse.
Well friends, I think with this I have covered part two of the challenge, there are only two weeks left and hopefully I can do it all. Thanks for reading.
Greetings and until another opportunity.
