A walkabout or stumble around Padley Gorge in Derbyshire's Peak District.

This week, we decided to take advantage of the last few weeks of summer by going for several walks in the Peak District in Derbyshire. The Peak District is known for its rolling hills and quaint villages.

The Peak District in Derbyshire may not get as much attention as Yorkshire or the Lake District, but it is just as stunning and full of history.

For our walk today, we went on the Monsal Trail starting at Hassop. There was some great views over the top, including the aquaduct in the distance over the River Wye. The aquaduct was built by Midland

We had a walk in Chatsworth Park today. The sun was out and so was the deer on the horizon. Someone was taking a pre Christmas exercise class across the road. It looked and sounded too much like hard work.

Hartington is situated in the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire, UK. It has some lovely stone cottages like these.

We had another little walk around the Derbyshire countryside. We came across another barn that wasn't in great condition.
