I grab the floor and hang my heels above the table, keeping my torso straight and toes on the above, then perform a push up. Now with my heels higher, I'm able to reach past 90 degrees.

In between sets I stay in this difficult (hanging) position for some reps rather than just lower myself all the way. I can do only 20 push-ups with this simple position. Still want to know why they're better?

It transfers the whole body weight to both arms, and it is more challenging because two arm isn't supporting you until as you push down with that arms starting position you can feel a bit heavier than your own normal weight from both toes on the ground (hands holding onto the floor). Hip flexors and spine get extra stimulation too (holding an awkward position). This helped me enjoy the challenge to rip more because when I try it's still difficult plus my feet want to disconnect from the floor.

By doing those hanging you can feel the weight of your body; just follow these simple steps below if you like to do the same.

If there is a cheer, a table, or and door do this one by one.

  1. Push up on the door knob (find your own suitable place) in both hands. (Place the toes in parallel to the door knob to hang it)

  2. Put your hands above the floor forming slanting to transfer the weight into your both hands.

  3. Put your forehead aim the centre point between your hands in the floor.

  4. Push up and hold for 5 seconds. Repeat 20 times

  5. Rest during 10 seconds

  6. Go back to step 1
