Hey, hey! This is @gabrielatravels, and I am excited to bring you a brand new edition of #TravelDigest! ❤️
Today's post is going to take you on a virtual tour with stops at a museum in Alaska, a church in Cuba, and a trip in Indonesia. We also have the honourable mentions, where you can get a few more travel postcards from the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Ecuador, and Venezuela, so don't forget to check these posts too! 😊
Walking away, the structure gradually blends into its surroundings. Despite the presence of decaying buildings, attention inevitably returns to its grandeur, a landmark that has defined this part of Havana since the late 1940s. Its neo-Gothic design—little recognized by most—continues to captivate pedestrians. At the small square where Vista Alegre and Buenaventura intersect, the building’s majesty leaves no one indifferent. Even the somber streets gain a measure of brightness from its presence.

Finally we stopped at the Museum of the Aleutians. Here we could step through time, starting with the Aleut culture that has thrived here for 10,000 years, leading up through the king crab boom made famous by the Deadliest Catch TV show. I don't want to compare this destination with any other tourist attraction, but the moment you arrive, you are immediately welcomed by breathtaking natural scenery, and that's why I like to call this place "the Green World." Although the destination itself hasn't changed much and everything still looks almost the same, but it is the peaceful atmosphere of nature that I have missed the most.
