One of the things that characterises the city is always the locals’ cheerfulness, the good vibes, the laughter, the singing and the fun, as well as the warmth of the people themselves, and I think that’s passed down from generation to generation. In previous years I’ve visited the fair, enjoyed the verdiales, various shows held on the famous Calle Larios and, above all, enjoyed the stalls selling traditional items such as fans, shawls, flowers, hats and much more.

A few weeks ago, when I found out that my next unloading would be in Norway and that I would also be spending the weekend there, a big smile appeared on my face. Norway is one of the most beautiful countries, and every visit there makes me happy. To my surprise, however, the ferry had not been booked for Saturday, as I had expected, but only for Monday in the evening.

Although I have visited Timisoara several times, a small Romanian city near the border with Serbia, every time I find myself there again, I find something that catches my attention and challenges me to use my mobile phone camera. Whether it's the sky above the main promenade, the white facades that have a different color when the sun shines through the clouds, or maybe the effect of the light on the chandeliers in the cathedral...
