Although I have visited Timisoara several times, a small Romanian city near the border with Serbia, every time I find myself there again, I find something that catches my attention and challenges me to use my mobile phone camera.
Whether it's the sky above the main promenade, the white facades that have a different color when the sun shines through the clouds, or maybe the effect of the light on the chandeliers in the cathedral...
Each step can be accompanied by an interesting photo.
But it's nice when, in some city, I walk along paths that I haven't passed before.
Over the bridge, then down the stairs to the promenade by the river.
A place where you can enjoy pleasant shade and conversation (like these two girls) or a place where you can enjoy beautiful reflections from the water surface.
And in my earlier walks I passed through the rose park, but it seems I was late this time too.
The roses have long since bloomed and now there are few left, and I wanted to sit on one of these white benches and enjoy their beauty.
Never mind, I'll do it some other time.
A large figure of a girl in a traditional Romanian costume escorted me out of the park as soon as I photographed this sign, which confirms my opinion
I🤎TM
If I was late for the walk in the rose park, I thought I might not be, for the other park tour. I looked for another garden that has a Flower clock.
I saw pictures of that clock on the Internet and wanted to make one of my own, but the disappointment when I saw it was big.
I'm late for that Flower clock too, I just don't know if it's a couple of months (if it's the hour with blooming flowers in spring), or maybe even a few years, because it seems to me that this is an abandoned project and that this kind of scenography would be more suitable for an abandoned building for the #urbex community.
However, there are a lot of beautiful buildings in Timisoara, squares where festivals are held, streets, which are "decorated" with umbrellas, and the big favorite and the most beautiful square is Union Square.
The museum building, the Catholic cathedral, the Orthodox church, the nearby synagogue, restaurants and cafes, along with the large park, is a gathering place for a large number of tourists, as well as the residents of Timisoara.
It was a warm day, so I looked for refreshment at a fountain, just like these pigeons, who drank water, but also bathed in it.
I finished my #wednesdaywalk without swimming, because I didn't want to scatter the pigeons, and it wasn't attractive to me to swim in the river, because the previous weekend I enjoyed the famous Temisoara Aqua Park.
I spent this day walking in the old part of Themisvara and during the walk I welcomed the night and the atmosphere that surprised me.
A large number of people on the streets, full of gardens of restaurants and cafes, give this city a great atmosphere and I could hardly agree to leave the city ang go to the hotel room, where my Wednesday walk ends.
