Our winners today

🥇 Monument Valley, Forrest Gump Point & Valley of the gods. US Southwest trip Day 3. [POL / ENG] by @klub-wloczykijow

A hike in Monument Valley, Forrest Gump Point, Mexican Hat and off-road in Valley of the gods were the highlights of the third day of my trip across the US southwest. We drove hundreds of kilometers across northern Arizona and southern Utah to see fantastic rock formations and places known from Hollywood movies.

You know that feeling that there are days when the universe decides to test our physical fitness? Well, the day I visited Arnóia Castle, in Celorico de Basto, was one of those moments. I, who thought I was in good shape after a few gentle walks on Sunday, was faced with a very different and steep reality. Very steep.

🥉 Exploring the Forbidden City in Beijing by @elevator09

During my time in Beijing I decided to visit the forbidden city, which is probably one of the most important cultural highlights of the country and is located in the center of Beijing. A reservation is necessary for the visit, which must be made beforehand via the Internet and here either the website or the WeChat channel can be used and I was lucky that I could also change my reservation on site which was positive because I was nearby that day anyway. Today the forbidden city mainly serves as a cultural heritage as well as a museum and in earlier times it served as the residence of the imperial families and here once lived the Ming and Qing dynasty and over the centuries numerous different emperors stayed here.
