Hey, hey! This is gabrielatravels@gabrielatravels, and I am excited to bring you a brand new edition of #TravelDigest! ❤️

Today's post is going to take you on a virtual tour with more stops in Amsterdam, Netherlands, at a mausoleum in Kazakhstan, and a castle in Venezuela. We also have the honourable mentions, where you can get a few more travel postcards from Mexico, Indonesia, Venezuela, USA, and Poland, so don't forget to check these posts too! 😊

🥇 A Walk Through Amsterdam [ENG-ESP] by hylene74@hylene74

Another building that impressed me was the Allard Pierson Museum and the University of Amsterdam campus. This museum houses collections from Roman, Greek, and Egyptian civilizations. We only saw the outside; to visit it, you have to buy tickets and spend a couple of hours or more exploring it and taking lots of pictures.

🥈 Along the Silk Route by azircon@azircon

Dating back in historical records to at least the 10th century, Sauren (or Sauran) was once the largest medieval city in what is now Kazakhstan. Strategically positioned along the northern branch of the Silk Road, it served as a crucial economic, political, and cultural node connecting the Eurasian steppes with Transoxiana and beyond.

🥉 And so I bid farewell to the castle (Eng/Esp) by saavedraa@saavedraa

This place is steeped in history, as its ancient, weathered stones bear witness. Its design is fascinating, as is its location: it sits on the slopes of Cerro Pan de Azúcar, which is why you can look out over the city from here, as if taking a break from the urban hustle and bustle. The daily grind can be stifling at times, so it’s important to find ways to relax.
