Hello, my dear readers! Today, I'm so happy to share these photos from a beautiful event that took place last Saturday at Restaurante Ajiceros, a Venezuelan criollo food restaurant. My daughter and I attended a Takenos event organized for the Venezuelan community. 🇻🇪❤️

I can honestly say it was a very well-organized event! We received personalized merchandise celebrating Venezuelans, along with a food ticket. We ordered cachapa and papelón con limón, a traditional Venezuelan sugarcane drink with lime. You might think it was just a little snack, but not at all! The cachapa was almost family-sized and loaded with queso de mano. 😋

But my favorite moment was when they played the song Venezuela. It made everyone feel at home because most of the people there were Venezuelan. ❤️🇻🇪 There's something so special about hearing that song when you're far away from your homeland.

Ever since they gave us the little cap with the word Venezuela on it, it has become my favorite! ☺️

This event was different from all the others I've attended with my daughter this year because you could truly feel the Venezuelan spirit. We played, laughed, ate, sang, and danced together. It was such a beautiful experience!

I've already told my daughter she needs to teach me how to use Takenos 😅 so I can send money to my son, who's back home in Venezuela. 🇻🇪❤️
