English Version
Like a sad leaf that has fallen from its tree, that is being carried by the wind to a random place, that falls to the ground and is simply trampled by many people who, with or without bad intentions, produce an intense and deep pain.
In her attempt to console herself, she reminds herself that the suffering will not last forever, that no matter how intense and unbearable it may seem, at any moment the end will come and, along with it, that longed-for relief.
Not all of them, it is true, but some of their wounds are in plain sight. It is not necessary to get too close to see how his nerves, both primary and secondary, have been broken, causing sadness and unhappiness to occupy the place where once there was joy and happiness.
Yet no one seems to care, at least not enough to try to help. The poor leaf now can't stop crying, and the worst thing is that her cry is so loud and, at the same time, one that no one can hear.
And, as if that were not enough, the time away from the tree is beginning to take its toll. The beautiful green color, which he was so proud of, has slowly started to fade. Now it is a sad, dull brown color that is slowly taking its place.
Oh sad leaf, how much more will you be able to endure, how great will be your ability to resist before the tragic and, to some extent, desired end comes?
Perhaps there is no way of knowing, perhaps there is only resignation and waiting. There is very little that can be done now, because even for those who collect leaves you are no longer liked, it has become clear that you have nothing in which you can excel. If only you could return to the tree, if only it were possible to put stem, petiole and nerves back together again!
It would be a true miracle, it would be a wonderful dream come true. If only it were possible, surely the sadness would go away, and the pain would be immediately eliminated. Maybe I'm asking too much, maybe it's just part of my dream, but I hope that one day that sad leaf can reach a beautiful place, and rest, and that forever an immense happiness can be enjoyed.
And since the end of this writing is near, it is necessary to confess a hidden truth: I am that sad leaf, I am the one that little by little withers without stopping, the one that feels it needs a miracle to continue, the one that no matter how hard I try always ends up reaching the same cruel destination, more and more dull and empty, one that more and more resembles my final destiny.
But, unlike a leaf, which has very little chance to do anything to change its reality, I am determined not to give up. I know I can, I know that one day, probably far away, the goal I will reach. I just don't have to give up, and one fine day return to the beautiful tree of life.
