After returning to the Keeper's Shrine, I crafted strong gear and cleared through skeletons into the swamp. After taking down a tiny poisonous frog, I engaged the fast giant frog. Despite using Immobilize multiple times and dodging, I ran out of stamina and was taken down once more.
Now that I was sent back to the Keeper's Shrine, I got ready for a good battle ahead. I even crafted some powerful gear before moving forward. Once more, I tried the slow approach, as I really liked how it worked last time.
I noticed the master who upgraded my gourd last time wasn't there anymore. However, his belongings were still around, suggesting he hadn't left the place for good and had likely just stepped away to get something.
The monster from before was still on my path, meaning the skeleton monsters ahead were active again. I thought I wouldn't have to fight them all over again, but there wasn't much else to do except bring the fight to him.
I used my Immobilize ability right at the start of the battle before giving him a chance to strike. Though he didn't die immediately and even managed to land a few hits on me, I kept dodging his attacks and hitting back until he was finally taken care of.
I was losing health because the monster inflicted poison on me, so I used Antimiasma Powder to neutralize the effect. Having lost a significant amount of health, I took a sip from my gourd to heal up.
Then I ran into the arena where the skeletons were waiting and started breaking their bones as soon as I arrived, taking them down real fast.
Moving forward, I jumped straight into the swamp where those frog monsters had defeated me last time. I noticed one of the tiny frog monsters coming toward me, so I took it down quickly before it could deal any damage, backing up before its poison effect could take hold.
Ahead, the giant frog was waiting alongside another small one. I took a sip from my gourd before rushing in. I attacked the little frog first, but the giant frog made a huge leap toward me while another small one moved behind me.
Deciding to back up, I found the big one was too fast and landed another attack. I used my Immobilize ability to stun it briefly and dealt some damage while it was frozen.
The stun wore off very quickly, though. The giant frog was extremely fast, forcing me to dodge much quicker. No matter how fast I reacted, the boss kept dealing heavy damage. Eventually, my Immobilize ability cooled down, and I used it on him again.
With my health severely depleted, I had to fall back. I couldn't leave the arena without defeating the boss, so I ran to the opposite side to avoid its wrath.
Once Immobilize became available again, I used it to strike the boss before retreating once more, realizing I would need one more Immobilize cycle to finish the fight.
My stamina began running out, and right as I prepared to cast Immobilize one last time, the giant frog took me down. It was getting frustrating, and I knew I would need to manage my health much better on the next attempt.
