Playing as Alex alongside Urzik militia forces, I joined Hadir in an assault on Barkov's airbase. Using Molotovs and remote-controlled RC planes, I destroyed enemy helicopters, towers, and troops.
After heavy firefights across the battlefield, a enemy sniper on a tower managed to take me down.
Hadir mentioned that he had a plan as we reached Barkov's base, where we prepared to carry out the rest of the mission. He explained that we would rely on our own methods rather than conventional explosives, handing me a set of Molotovs to wage a proxy war.
Operating as Alex, a CIA operative working alongside the Urzik militia at Al Raab in Urzikstan, I followed Hadir toward the nearby helicopter setup. He instructed me to launch remote-controlled RC planes to gather intelligence and target the enemy air fleet.
Taking control of the transmitter, I piloted an explosive drone directly into a helicopter, when countless other drones crashed into the aircraft around the base.
With the initial aerial strike completed, we moved down toward the main facility alongside a large unit of local militia fighters. Our primary objectives were to attack the armory, seize their weapons, and gain total control of the airfield.
Another heavy explosion rocked the enemy forces, officially igniting the full-scale battle. Heavy gunfire erupted from every direction, but our squad pressed forward without hesitation, exchanging shots with Barkov's guards and clearing a path through the facility.
I tossed Molotovs into the enemy positions, coating the area in flames as bullets flew across the chaotic warzone.
Enemy attack helicopters arrived as reinforcements to suppress our advance, forcing me to deploy additional explosive RC drones into the air. I maneuvered the planes through incoming fire and successfully destroyed both attack choppers.
Continuing the push forward, I launched another RC drone to detonate a defensive tower that held a heavy position. When another squad of enemy soldiers opened fire on our line, I used more drones to neutralize their pocket of resistance.
Someone called out over the radio that more planes were ready for deployment, so I launched another drone to wipe out a group of infantry scattered across the field.
With the ground forces pushed back and our team maintaining momentum, we made a final push toward the inner perimeter. As we advanced, enemy snipers positioned atop a tall tower began pinning down our line.
I drew my sniper rifle and aimed up at the tower to eliminate the enemy sniper, but before I could squeeze the trigger, a sniper bullet caught me first and took me down.
