After playing over an hour, I headed to the E&F plant for my story quest. Avoiding infected, I attempted to unlock a chimney safe spot. Olivia warned me of Baron's men nearby. Following a fatal fall off a broken pole, I respawned, scaled the ledges, and crossed between chimneys.
This game has been quite interesting recently. I had played for over an hour without capturing any footage, but at last I decided to head to the E&F plant to continue my story quest.
As I got closer to the location, I found myself surrounded by infected, which is completely normal for a game like this. I decided to push through toward the plant without fighting any more of them, considering I had already cleared out plenty earlier.
Along the way, I spotted a tall chimney tower that looked like it could serve as a safe spot if I managed to restore it.
While searching for a way to get toon to of the safe zone atop the chimney, Olivia reached out through the comms. She warned me that Baron's men were guarding the entire area and suggested I use a stealthy approach to gain the upper hand.
I needed to find a path to scale the chimney safe spot, but all the handhelds on the lower structure were completely destroyed. I had to reach higher ground first to make a climb possible
I decided to make a risky leap from my position to grab the curved ledges of the chimney, but I landed on a loose pole instead. The pole snapped immediately, sending me falling to my death.
Fortunately, I didn't respawn too far from the area. I realized the broken pole area was still the key to reaching the climbing path, I just needed to execute the jump in the right direction.
On my next try, I successfully grabbed hold of a curved ledge on the chimney and began scaling the structure.
Everything went smoothly for a bit as I climbed higher. Reaching a dead end on the first structure, I had to leap across to the adjacent chimney where I saw more handhelds.
Although those handhelds didn't lead all the way to the top, they brought me to a walkway where I could cross back over to the other chimney, which had a clearer set of handhelds leading upward.
