Respawning at the shrine, I quickly defeated the wolves and the archer. After surviving a surprise ground-monster attack with low health, I returned to the shrine to heal. Re-clearing the respawned enemies along a new path, I eliminated a wolf carrying a heavy axe and prepared to fight a giant monster.
I spawned back at the last resting point and made a straight line for the wolves. I took them down quickly this time, unwilling to waste any more time than I already had.
Moving forward to clear the remaining hostiles, I noticed that the chest guardian had not respawned with me.
I shifted my focus directly toward the archer firing fire arrows. Although I took a few hits when closing the distance due to a minor misstep, I refused to let him bring me down like before, quickly eliminating him up close.
I jumped off the bridge and sprinted toward another pack of wolves, finding the direct combat against them genuinely fun.
Further up the trail, I spotted a massive giant monster with an oversized head, but I decided to hold off on engaging him immediately. I prioritized taking care of the smaller, weaker targets first, taking full advantage of how easily the wolves went down.
While I was gathering several medicinal flowers off the ground, a hidden monster suddenly burst straight out of the ground. The creature lunged at me immediately, forcing me to execute quick dodges before counterattacking after its heavy swings.
The monster managed to drain most of my remaining health, and with no healing items left, I had to carefully evade its follow-up strikes. After a grueling struggle, I finally landed the finishing blow.
Knowing my critically low health would leave me vulnerable to the remaining hostiles ahead, I decided to head back to the shrine to rest and restore my condition.
I accepted the risk that every monster I had just slain would respawn, reasoning that skipping the shrine would only lead to a forced respawn after a fatal blow anyway.
Resting at the shrine fully restored my health, and as expected, the enemies returned to their posts.
With full health restored, I returned to the field focused on executing precise dodges.
I decided to explore an alternate route this time, where a wolf wielding a massive axe stood waiting for me. The creature seemed barely strong enough to carry the heavy weapon, and after executing a series of perfect dodges, I brought it down.
With the path cleared, I turned my focus toward the giant monster to face its wrath, noticing that its physical features carried a striking resemblance to Thanos from the MCU.
