After hurling the floating enemy and clearing out the remaining junior operatives with their own explosives, I cleansed the siphon, causing the chamber to rise. Facing a wave of new Hiss soldiers and heavy enemies with matching launch powers, I retreated to safer ground and used my launch ability from afar.
After taking the floating Hiss down, I pulled an enemy along with his chair to use as a projectile. Looking at him, tied up with his face covered in cloth, was scary. He wasn't a born monster, but a created monster.
It looked like there weren't many enemies left, just two more, and I needed to be careful because I wasn't going to mess up this time.
I attacked a junior operative enemy, flinging his own explosive rounds right back at him.
When my launcher unit discharged, I switched to my service revolver, keeping the pressure on so he didn't get the upper hand. Capturing one of those explosive rounds in flight, I was ready to throw it back at the enemy.
With that foe dealt with, another waited right below me, firing more explosive rounds.
I caught one of his explosives and threw it back, and it worked. Though he didn't go down immediately, I pressed the attack and finished him off with a swift melee strike, realizing he was the last enemy in the area.
I gathered the health crystals scattered around before turning my attention to cleansing the siphon, hoping there would be more snow and action later.
As soon as I cleansed the siphon, the chamber floated higher, and right on cue, another connected siphon appeared. Hiss soldiers were waiting for me on the other side.
I started picking them off with my service revolver from a distance, mixing in my launch ability to hurl environmental projectiles at them. Taking them down from afar worked well until I prepared to cross over.
Hovering there, I guessed that more enemies would spawn once I reached the other side, and sure enough, a massive wave appeared instantly.
It wasn't going to be a fair fight, especially with the heavy enemies that rolled out to crush me. Deciding that discretion was the better part of valor, I pulled back to attack them from a distance.
Using my launch ability to hrow heavy objects from afar while keeping an eye on nearby health drops, I managed to whittle down their numbers. However, I still needed to cross to take out the rest.
Two heavy enemies were guarding the area near the siphon, and dangerously, they wielded launch abilities just like mine.
I had to be extremely careful; one of those heavy brutes hurled a massive satellite antenna straight at me, but I crouched down just in time to avoid taking heavy damage.
