Sailing past a low bridge, we launched a full raid on Santa Maria's Abbey.
We fought through waves of guards, chain-wielding brutes, and fire arrows. After executing key targets and saving my crew members from heavily armed defenders, I cleared the remaining forces and revived a fallen warrior.
We decided to open sail, but there was a bridge nearby where we had to lower the mast of the longship to pass underneath. Once we were safely on the other side, I commanded the crew to open sail again.
I had the destination in my sights, and as we drew close to the shore, I blew my warhorn to call for the raid on Santa Maria's Abbey.
A group of enemy soldiers was waiting to welcome us, and we thanked them for their warm reception with our swords. We kept pushing forward into their territory against defenders who tried in vain to stop our advance
When we decide to raid a place, we are completely unstoppable. My crew engaged the frontline forces behind me while I pushed deeper into the abbey grounds.
Three heavy enemies stepped forward to block the path, all wielding heavy chain weapons. I activated a special ability against one of the larger foes, though the strike missed its primary target in the chaos.
The brute proved tough to kill, but after trading blows, I managed to finish him off with a few well-placed arrows from afar.
Continuing deeper into the complex, I ran into an archer and took him down the moment I reached his position. Eivor finished him off by severing his head, a truly brutal sight.
Moments later, enemy archers hit me with fire arrows, setting me ablaze, but I refused to slow down and kept slaying everyone in my path.
I spotted an enemy soldier on a high ledge firing berserker darts down at us. I closed the distance while he was busy reloading, caught him off guard, and took him down real fast.
Further ahead, a standard bearer was rallying the remaining defenders. I hit him with a special ability, but he survived the initial impact. Working together with one of my crew members, we brought him to his knees, and Eivor used the enemy's own flag spear to impale and finish him off.
Looking across the courtyard, I saw a large enemy with a heavy axe on the verge of killing one of my men. I rushed in to draw his attention and took him down before he could land a lethal blow.
Nearby, another heavy soldier armed with a massive hammer was fighting two of my crew members; I landed a solid strike to break his guard, allowing my warriors to finish him off.
Finally, a fast enemy charged toward us. I used a special ability to grab him, hurl him across the ground, and end the fight with a crushing stomp while he was stunned.
Even after clearing the main group, a few stragglers remained around the abbey.
I made sure to eliminate the last of them so the area was completely secure. With all the defenders dealt with, I ran over to a fallen crew member clinging to life and revived him.
