After accidentally attacking the wrong location, I shot a door lock from high ground and unbarred a house. Fighting off waves of enemies alone while my longship crew offered only distant archer support, Eivor executed two standard bearers and looted a chest before heading to the real raid site.
I noticed this was actually not the location we were going to raid. How funny, huh? I reached a high ground from where I could shoot the lock of the house through a hole in the wall.
While I was working on it, I noticed more enemies reaching the area, but I didn't know where my crew went.
I blew my warhorn to call my crew back since there were a lot of enemies around. They even went inside that house, opening up the door I had just unbarred a moment ago.
Hearing the horn definitely attracted the enemies, but I didn't see my crew coming to help me. I ran toward my longship to wake them up and tried to see if we could trigger the raid option again so my crew might get interested in fighting them, but there was no way to do that.
I stopped at the shore again and jumped off my longship to take these enemies down alone, while my crew only fired a few arrow shots from the ship.
A standard bearer approached, so I used a special ability to deal solid damage before Eivor finished him off with a swift strike, beheading him on the spot.
Next was an archer who was using bolt arrows instead of a standard bow. He tried to escape my wrath, but he couldn't get away, I caught up to him and took him down while severing his limbs.
There were still more enemies to take care of, especially another standard bearer who was looking around for me after I slipped out of his line of sight.
Once he spotted me again, he charged in to attack. After evading his strikes, I launched my counterattack, and at the end, Eivor used the enemy's own flag spear to finish him off.
It was finally time to go inside the house and collect the reward I had been fighting all these enemies for. I found a standard loot chest inside, but it contained only ordinary rewards, nothing heavy or big.
The supplies were definitely not worth fighting all those enemies for, but what happened, happened. It was time to head for the actual raiding location, which was supposed to be close by.
That's all for now.
