Hello Friends in Plant Power Community, yesterday afternoon, my husband bought several packs of black tape pulut, seeing the shape of the tape, it looks like it has a delicious taste. Sure enough, after tasting one pack, the taste is very sweet and the water content is not too much so it doesn't make you bored to eat it.
Black tape pulut is a food made by mixing black glutinous rice with yeast, it is usually wrapped in banana leaves to speed up the fermentation process and produce a sweet-tasting tape pulut. I haven't made a black pudding tape pulut for a long time, which has a sweet and fresh taste, that's why today I'm going to make a black pudding tape pulut.
In making pulut black pudding tape, we need accuracy in mixing and cooking pudding ingredients, especially when mixing processed tape into coconut milk. If not mixed properly, the tape and agar will clot.
The ingredients we need to make black pudding tape pulut are:
2 packs of agar agar flour, you should use white or brown if you have one
15 packs of black glutinous tape or 15 tablespoons
100 grams of cornstarch or rice flour
1 pack of instant coconut milk
3 tablespoons of sugar, because the taste of tape pulut Hitam is already sweet due to the fermentation process, I only use 3 tablespoons of sugar, friends who like sweetness can use 5 tablespoons of sugar
700 mL water
How to make :
1.put the agar agar into the pan
2.add the cornstarch to the pan
3.add sugar to the pan, stir all ingredients until well blended.
4.add instant coconut milk
I saw that there was still coconut milk left at the bottom of the instant coconut milk package, I gave water to remove the coconut milk.
5.add water to the pan, stir all the ingredients so that the flour doesn't clump.
6.cook all ingredients until boiling, cook over low heat while stirring, so that the level of doneness of all ingredients is even, if we don't stir the dough, the flour will clump and burn the bottom of the pan.
for a while I stop kneading the dough, then the dough starts to clump. we have to keep stirring it until the dough boils.
7.after all the ingredients boil evenly, add the black glutinous tape slowly, stir.
8.cook all ingredients until boiling, then turn off the stove, let the hot steam disappear
9.after the steam is gone, put the black pudding into the mold, wait until it cools down, to speed up the hardening process of the pudding, I put it in the fridge after the steam is gone.
I also put the pudding into the glass.
The taste is very rich because the combination of the sweet and fresh taste of black tape pulut mixed with soft cornstarch, plus the sensation of hardened agar-agar flour, makes this pudding feel more special. I prefer to enjoy the black pudding tape pulut when it's cold, after it's from the fridge, this pudding can be enjoyed when the weather is cold or hot.
Happy weekend friends
Best Regards
