It was off early with Lulu for a nice hike and few hours prospecting down on Copper Basin Wash.
The morning started off sunny, but ominous dark clouds began to roll in after we had hiked the mile down to our digging spot. A cool wind also began to blow down the wash but nothing came of it and I was able to get my work done in mild weather.
The hike back wasn't too difficult despite several hours of digging and all the heavy gear I had to haul back. Lulu had fun running around ahead of me on the return hike and overall it was a very nice day outdoors for us both.
Finished up my day with an easy 4 mile walk around on my morning route, but I added a couple of extra loops around the trails section to stretch out my tired muscles after all my hard work.
Maybe rain tomorrow and into the weekend
