A tough but fun run on the Watson Lake trails on a wonderful November day.
I got a relatively late start to my run and didn't hit the trails until almost noon. So by that time my legs were feeling a bit stiff and the day was a bit warm. Still it wad a beautiful day and the trails weren't busy so I could enjoy the scenery and some solitude at the same time. Unfortunately it has been a very dry year so the lake level has dropped quite a bit. Not good for the waterfowl but maybe some welcome rain this weekend (Just in time for the trail ultra!).
Too bad I'm probably going to be driving all over northern Arizona on Saturday transporting some rescues dogs or else I'd be volunteering at the ultra. Getting the doggies to new homes is more important. Take care all.
