Hi Guys!
It is snowing like crazy here in NEBC, at the moment. Walking in thick snow, with my steel-toe boots was not easy, it was around 2-3 inches around 10.30 AM! As am typing, it is 3.12 PM and I am not looking forward to drive home. Must be a nightmare outside, yikes!
While am enjoying my 15 mins break, thought I'd share you the following recipe. Made them last year (I mean, a couple of months ago) 馃ぃ I only got to sit down and edit the vlog last night 馃槄馃槄馃槄馃槄
Anyhoo!
These cookies never last long in my house! 馃槏
13 boxes (or more!) Smarties (MnM's would be great too!)
2 1/2 c AP flour
1 tsp BSoda
A generous pinch of salt
1 c dark brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
1 c vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp each vanilla and almond essence
1-2 handful semi-sweet chocolate chips
First, roughly crush your Smarties. You can use food processor, rolling pin, meat tenderizer, whichever you have, and set aside.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, set aside
Cream sugars and oil, beat in eggs one at a time, followed with essences
Stir in dry ingredients
Fold in crushed smarties, followed with chocolate chips.
Drop dough by a tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet, and bake for 8-10 mins on preheated 350 F
Move cookies to cooling rack!
