Hello guys....

Today I will cook Korean food, namely tteokbokki. What I'm going to cook is packaged tteokbokki that can be bought at the supermarket.

Yesterday I went to one of the supermarkets in the city where I live.

And if anyone doesn't know that tteokbokki is a typical Korean food rice cake. And what I bought is tteokbokki made in Indonesia under the Ilmi brand, this is the first time I bought this brand so I didn't know how it tasted before. So this can also be considered as my first impression with this brand.

On the back of the wrap, there is already a way to cook it, so we can just follow it and cook it even easier.

In this one package we will get 1 pack of tteokbokki sauce or what is commonly called gochujang and also tteokbokki with eomuk.

This cooking is very easy and only takes a very short time, only about 5 minutes.

How To Cook

  • The first is to boil 70 ml of water until it boils.

  • Then when the water is boiling, add the tteokbokki sauce.

  • Then also put the tteokbokinya into the boiling water, and also because in my opinion it's quite a bit so I add a little macaroni to make it more.

  • Stir everything until the spices are thickened.

  • And if it thickens then it's ready to eat.

It's ready to eat and assess how it tastes.

Honestly, I don't really like the taste, it's very different from the tteokbokki I've been eating. It does not mean that this food is not delicious but the taste of the sauce is lacking, maybe if enough sauce is provided then this will be even better.

I will not order with this brand again, maybe next time I will try another brand that might be better than this.

Alright, that's it for this time. I will show again what I did in the next post.

Thank you for reading my post and don't forget to read my other posts.
