Hello guys....

How are you all? I hope you are all well and always happy. Meet me again, nice to meet you all. I'm back with my story, I'll tell you about the various activities I do.

In the afternoon, there’s nothing better than buying some snacks. Many vendors set up shop along the street during this time, and since I was craving some snacks, I asked my younger sibling to go buy some with me.

The snack I bought this time was lumpia (spring rolls); I had originally only intended to buy lumpia, but since there was a vendor selling jumbo-sized lupis (steamed sticky rice cakes) right in front of the lumpia stall, I ended up buying some of those too.

Lumpia Chicken Patty

I bought the Chicken Patty lumpia. They offer several other types of fillings, but the chicken one appealed to me the most. There are different sizes of lumpia—small and large—and this particular one is the large version, available with a variety of filling options.

This lumpia (spring roll) is a snack made from a thin wrapper filled with a mixture of vegetables, macaroni, meat, and sauce. In reality, there are many other variations; different vendors often create their own unique versions.

For this spring roll, they use lettuce and tomato, along with chili sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, and a crispy chicken patty—a delicious combination.

Plus, the spring roll wrappers are cooked until crispy—but since they’re prepared using just a little bit of butter rather than being deep-fried, they don’t feel greasy at all.

Lupis Jumbo And Cenil

Next, I bought some lupis and cenil. While these are typically eaten for breakfast, there’s one shop that only sells them from the late afternoon into the evening. And unlike the usual small-sized lupis, the ones at this shop are quite large—perhaps three times the typical size.

Lupis is made from cooked glutinous rice wrapped in banana leaves; once cooked, it is coated with grated coconut. Cenil, on the other hand, is a snack made from a mixture of tapioca starch and granulated sugar—colored, shaped into small spheres, and served with grated coconut.

Both are typically eaten with a palm sugar syrup or a palm sugar sauce—a delicious combination of sweetness.

These three snacks are truly delicious. I really like them—a tasty and satisfying afternoon treat.

Okay, that's my activity this time. Thank you for reading my story, see you in my next story~
