Hi bloggers and food lovers, do you like udon? My favorite is niku udon, but this time I wanted to try udon a little differently, with a creamy and spicy broth. This is the first time I’ve made udon this way, and it turned out delicious and just right. Okay, let’s get started
Ingredients:
1 package of udon
500 ml water
1 clove garlic
1 shallot
1 tbsp gochujang sauce
1 tbsp margarine
1 cup udon cooking water
1 cup milk/cooking cream
3 slices smoked beef
1 tbsp chili flakes
a pinch of salt
Instructions:
Bring water to a boil in a pot
Add the udon noodles and cook for 7 minutes
Drain and set aside
Heat a pan and sauté the chopped shallot and garlic in a little margarine until fragrant
Add the gochujang sauce
Sauté briefly, then pour the udon cooking water into the pan
Add milk or cooking cream to the pan
Add the smoked beef slices
Add the chili flakes to the pan
When it starts to boil, add the udon and cook until thickened
