Sunrise through the woods. Sunrise at my house is usually pretty tame. The sun first has to get over the mountains then is filtered through the trees. But this morning was beautiful.
I headed down to the lake to check out the colors but missed the moment.
Fall colors are also not quite there at the lake yet.
The sunrise did give a bit of color but still waiting for the fall foliage show.
Interesting colors on this eastern cedar tree. Contrary to what their name suggests, evergreens do drop some of their needles each fall. With the tiny pine cones, the changing needles along with the still green needles provide some surprising color. Hope you have a great weekend 🙂
