Welcome to my #WednesdayWalk - Wildflower edition. I took some time today on my morning walk to take pictures of as many different flowers as possible. Not all of the pictures are great and some of the flower descriptions are based on internet ids so I wouldn't call them 100% certain 馃槉 But I wanted to capture as many as possible.

First two photos are crabapple blooms. Ok not flowers but I included blooming trees.

These purple flowers are Fleabane in a grass field along the country road I walked.

Periwinkle. Lovely small periwinkle which is a ground cover.
img_8912.jpeg
This entire area is covered with periwinkle. I missed the prime flowering so there aren't a lot of flowers but you can see the grould cover.

This small yellow flower is a Golden Alexander.

These tiny white flowers are Woodruff.
img_4494.jpg
Ok. These are actually in a garden patch a neighbor has in the field across the road from his house. Strawberry bloom.
img_4496.jpg
Viburnum is another flowering tree. This is mixed in with the honeysuckle along the edge of the forest.
img_4502.jpg
Honeysuckle is very common along roads bordering forest.
img_4509.jpg
Honeysuckle is usually white but there are some pink blooms also.
img_4501.jpg
Its white or pink by plant but here are a couple growing closely together.

Next up is another flowering tree. This is a wild cherry in bloom. Again on the border of the forest.

img_4519.jpg
Mosquito photobombed this shot. Better on the bloom than on me! Mosquitos are really bad right now 鈽癸笍

Dame's rocket, Dame's violet, Dameswort. This purple flower has many common names.

Finally made it to the lake. Pictures of the lake alway #makemesmile
img_4491.jpg
Its about a mile and a quarter to the lake from my house. To celebrate #WednesdayWalk I slowed down and took in the wildflowers. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did 馃尰馃檪
