Fog is common this time of year in Vermont.
Our walk was early enough the sun hadn't burned off the fog. But it was actually cloudy for much of the day anyway. I'm already not liking the sun being so low in the sky in winter.
Our neighbor did some work on his fence this fall and left this fencepost on top of his rock wall. They live in North Carolina most of the year. I'm tempted to move it so it won't be in my pictures 😆
This is looking west. The field on this side of the road looks a little colder maybe some light frost.
The lake is still in shadows mostly at 7:30am this time of year. At least on the east shore where the sun isn't over the mountain ridge yet.
The brighter west shore shows some colors still and makes for sharper reflections.
Here's a photo of just the west shore in the morning light.
And here's my favorite view with the fog and clouds its nice even with the uneven and low light.
