I caught one last afternoon of great fall colors. The reflections were the best I've seen this year.
Here's the kind of photo I always like - balanced up and down plus right to left. This is looking toward the north end of the lake. Different place than my normal photo I take like this on the south end of the lake.
The wall of color was incredible. The reflection almost indistinguishable from the actual mountain.
The colors are a little different in this photo with more yellow and the white cabin.
I think this is my favorite photo but maybe one of many favorites in this post 馃檪
There are a lot of green pines in this photo but I like the three rounded peaks in this view. The middle peak is starting to go brown with bare trees.
This is a view of one of the youth camps on the northern end of the lake.
Mount Moosalamoo in a wide view.
The point on this end of the lake has been one of my most taken photos this fall. It always has nice colors.
I usually include some sky in reflection shots. But the color was so good on this day, I took more photos with just the color.
Most of the photos in this post are of the east shore. This is the west shore of the lake. The sun was brighter on the west side. It was about 2:30pm when I took these photos.
I did a full pano from near the outlet of the lake. The lake is the source for the Leicester River.
East shore with Mount Moosalamoo behind it.
A wider view of the west shore.
The final shot is zoomed all the way back from the lake outlet. This was our first view of what the colors were going to be like. It was so exciting, we rushed to the lake to get photos while conditions were good.
