It is another two in one as I was out again last night. My account has taken another hammering from a certain 'crypto analyst'. I do not care too much about the lost rewards and have just bought far more Steem than he took from me as the price is so low right now. I am intent on becoming a bigger player on Steem, but in small steps.
As I am being haunted by this 'ghost' in the run-up to Halloween I have made him the subject of this first piece where I copied his old avatar, which is some Korean actor. We shall see if he has a sense of humour, but I doubt it somehow. Feel free to not vote as it may well get cancelled out. I really do appreciate the support I have had, but when the downvotes are more than $10 I do not stand much chance of getting anything on posts he attacks. I still do not know why I am one of his selected targets as I left his alone for ages and could never do him much harm anyway when he was taking hundreds of dollars each day through self-votes.
For the ancient prompt I searched my own Google Photos and it found some from our visit to Pompeii last year. This is based on one taken exactly a year ago. This is an attempt at some perspective, but I did it freehand rather than getting a ruler out to draw some guidelines. It was an amazing place to visit that made you think about the people who lived and died there.
Steem is not a matter of life and death. It is a social experiment that still has potential. The low Steem price may be temporary depending on many factors. SMTs are coming and I expect they will be a major topic at Steemfest in a couple of weeks. I will not be there, but will try to keep up with the news that comes from Bangkok.
By the way I just created another account for a friend of a friend who I hope will be active here. I still have lots of claimed accounts that I can give away. I advertise this on Twitter, but get few takers. If you know good people who need one then let me know.
Steem on and on!
