I can eat this every day and it is pretty simple to make. I mention "cold method", which means that I beat air in the butter instead of the eggs. By this way the apple will not sink to the bottom of the cake. For this recipe you need salted butter at room temperature, sugar, flour, eggs, apple, baking soda, pinch of salt and some cinnamon. You can easy use a fresh pineapple, or same like dry-ish fruit, instead of apple. (no cans)

Start off by cutting the apple and mix it with a little sugar and the cinnamon
Prepared a cake tin. Coat on the inside with Cling Film. It helps when you make the inside of the tin is slightly moist
Mix the butter and the sugar on highest speed. this takes about 8 minutes. Here you see it looks yellow, that means, you must continue mixing.
After mixing for about 8 minutes the butter mass looks white, like in the picture below.
You add the eggs en mix short on low gear
Sift flour,baking powder and salt into the mass. Stir with a wooden spoon all together
Add the apple parts and stir
Mix everything good together
Fill the cake tin
