El día de hoy quiero hablarles sobre ese fabuloso y divertido viaje a la playa en San Antonio del Sur, en la provincia de Guantánamo. Aunque han pasado unos cuatro años lo recuerdo con cariño como si hubiese sido ayer. Fue en agosto, durante las vacaciones de verano, mi esposo, que en ese momento era mi novio, estaba de visita pues nuestra relación en sus inicios fue tocada por la distancia entre provincias.
En la iglesia se había planificado uno de esos viajes a la playa para disfrutar el verano entre hermanos, en un ambiente cargado de alegría, juegos, compartiendo vivencias que siempre quedarán en cada corazón. Como coincidió con el viaje que mi esposo, en ese tiempo novio, haría, pues fuimos juntos, y fue increíble.
Tuvimos tiempo para cantar alabanzas a nuestro Dios, nos bañamos y jugamos entre las olas, incluso hubo juegos así que armamos equipos y competimos, pero todos nos divertimos a lo grande. Ver estas fotos y recordar esos momentos es importante para mí aunque queda esa añoranza, en verdad extraño a mi familia y también la ciudad que me vio nacer, Guantánamo. Espero que podamos volver pronto y tener más instantes para tomar fotos así que nos dejen tan bellos recuerdos.

Today I want to tell you about that fabulous and fun trip to the beach in San Antonio del Sur, in the province of Guantánamo. Although about four years have passed, I remember it fondly as if it had been yesterday. It was in August, during the summer vacations; my husband, who at that time was my boyfriend, was visiting since our relationship in its beginnings was touched by the distance between provinces.
At church, one of those beach trips had been planned to enjoy the summer among brothers and sisters, in an atmosphere filled with joy, games, sharing experiences that will always remain in every heart. Since it coincided with the trip that my husband, at that time my boyfriend, was going to make, well, we went together, and it was incredible.
We had time to sing praises to our God, we swam and played among the waves, there were even games, so we formed teams and competed, but we all had a great time. Seeing these photos and remembering those moments is important to me, although that longing remains; I truly miss my family and also the city that saw me born, Guantánamo. I hope we can return soon and have more moments to take photos like these that leave us such beautiful memories.
