When I go for walks, I often take photos of the scenery as it changes with the seasons.
Spring is especially green, as you can see. I sometimes feel really lucky to live in such a green and varied place.
I took these photos in the first weeks of May, and now I notice the greenery has kept growing. The meadows are turning green, but there are still no wildflowers to add some color.
Of all the colors that appear in spring, two stand out the most: the green of the land and the blue of the sky. These colors go well together.
Meadows, forest edges, and orchards turn into a carpet of different shades of green. Above this bright green, the blue sky stretches out with only a few small white clouds.
Standing in the center of a green meadow and gazing upward, it seems as though the earth and sky are connected. The blue above makes the green appear even more vivid, while the green brightens and clarifies the sky. This combination provides the balance.
