I know tht city life can be beautiful as there are a lot of opportunities. But then, Sometimes, we just need a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life and surround ourselves with the beauty of nature.
Here in the village, there's no generator sound as there's constant light, no car horns and people rushing to meet up.
The only sounds are that of the animals and the chirping birds.
Everywhere is just calm, and time seems to be slow.
A quiet rough road with grasses growing along both sides and of course people's homes too.
My daughters wanted to cross to the other side of the road just to hunt for izora flowers. But I wasn't having it. I stopped them before they could cross. Was just trying to protect them from being bitten by sand flies.
I just had to allow her play with the sand, because why not? We're in the village of course.I just made sure that she plays safe as she refused to put on her crocs. It's actually her first time in the village since she started walking.
This used to be my mom in-law's garden, it's her favorite spot for planting leafy vegetables, okra and pepper. Lost her some months ago reason this place is filled with weeds.
And look at the coconut tree there, I'm happy that it's thriving. It was planted last year during dry season.
That's all for today and I hope you enjoy my photo essay.
