I hope there will be live concerts soon that I can attend, not just stream. I even think it will be within a month or two at the most. Well, we'll see.

R.I.P. Anita Layne. She was a bad seed who helped Nick Cave in his most difficult moments. She was his collaborator as well as an artist in her own right. She passed away last week.

Cover of blues musician R.L. Burnside’s song “Going Down South,” the second single from the band’s upcoming album Delta Kream. And when you combine two such elements, both of which I respect immensely in musical terms, then you get a remarkable song that will not go unnoticed. New single of London's experimental-math-rock group from the new album Cavalcade. Complex instrumental math-rock sounds are colored with lyrics about a revolution interrupted by a coup. A chaotic video also fits into this story.

Sharon Van Etten - Some Things Last A Long Time

It is an adaptation of a song by Daniel Johnston that was filmed for the documentary “Feels Good Man” whose main plot revolves around Pepe The Frog phenomenon. In her style, Sharon uses lo-fi vocals imbued with noise to give a new touch to the song.

Liars - Sekwar

New song and video for the forthcoming 10th, "The Apple Drop" album. They’re still experimenting in their post-punk style with hints of electronics, they’re just a little older and better produced. :)
