The Song: "Traces Of You" was officially released in September 2026 under the major trance label Black Hole Recordings.A-List DJ Support: Alongside Paul van Dyk, trance icon Ferry Corsten has also been rinsing the track in his live sets.

EGGSTA & That Girl are a new South African electronic duo bringing together two distinctive artists, producers and vocalists with deep roots in songwriting, trance and dance music. Individually, EGGSTA (Eden Michelle) and That Girl SA (Tanya van Schalkwyk) have built respected careers in their own right. Together, they are creating a sound that sits between progressive house, trance, melodic techno and experimental electronic music; with a strong emphasis on vocals, emotion and musical storytelling.

EGGSTA is a South African producer, songwriter, DJ and vocalist known for bridging the worlds of commercial EDM and underground progressive and trance. A classically trained pianist from the age of six, Eden developed as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer before launching EGGSTA as an artist project in 2019. She has released music through respected international labels including Armada Music, Black Hole Recordings, Find Your Harmony and Magik Muzik, while collaborating with artists across the global electronic scene. Known for writing, singing and producing her own music, EGGSTA brings a hands-on, musician-first approach to everything she creates.

That Girl SA, the stage name of Tanya van Schalkwyk, is a South African singer and songwriter whose emotionally charged vocals have become a recognisable presence in the international trance scene. Her breakthrough came with Polish producer Robbie Seed on “Behind That Pretty Smile” via Paul van Dyk’s Vandit Records, followed by “Stars Collide” with Robbie Seed and Andrew Rayel, released through Armin van Buuren’s Armind. She has since worked with artists including Ruben de Ronde, Craig Connelly, Ashley Wallbridge, Helsløwed and Jimmy Chou, establishing herself as a sought-after vocal and songwriting talent within the global electronic community.

Now, EGGSTA & That Girl bring their individual worlds into one project. Their creative chemistry is rooted in a shared love of songwriting, experimentation and electronic music, while their contrasting approaches give the duo room to explore beyond the boundaries of either artist's solo sound.
