Hello, friends at Hive and Home Solutions鈥攈ow is everyone doing? It鈥檚 been quite a while since I last wrote because I was away on a work trip that came up, and on top of that, both my parents are dealing with health issues, but I鈥檓 back now to keep my blog going as best I can.
Well, friends, as I told you, I was away on a business trip, and thanks to that extra money, we were able to take care of some pending tasks around the house, like replacing the toilet fixtures in the bathroom, the sink faucet, and a few other things that needed doing.

Hola amigos de Hive y Home Solutions, c贸mo est谩n todos? Ten铆a bastante tiempo din escribir porque estuve de viaje por un trabajo que me sali贸 y adem谩s mis padres tambi茅n est谩n con problemas de salud los dos, pero ya estoy de nuevo aqu铆 para activar mi blog en la medida de mis posibilidades.
Bueno amigos como les dije estuve fuera por un viaje de trabajo y gracias a ese dinero extra pudimos resolver algunas cosas en casa que ten铆amos pendientes como cambiar los herrajes del inodoro del ba帽o, el grifo del lavamanos y otras cosas m谩s que hay que hacer en la casa.
A while back, I told you that I was looking for supplies to repair the bathroom, but with so many other expenses, I hadn鈥檛 gotten around to it. But now, thank God, we were able to go shopping鈥攚hich wasn鈥檛 easy either, because we couldn鈥檛 find everything in one place. We had to go to many hardware stores and home improvement stores, and in the end, we got the supplies from three different places.
I needed to buy the hardware for the toilet, and I also had to buy the bathroom sink faucet, the drain pipe that had been damaged, and I wanted to replace the entire siphon and drain pipes as well.

Hace tiempo yo les hab铆a dicho que estaba en busca de las cosas para las reparaciones del ba帽o, pero entre tantos gastos no se hab铆a hecho, pero ahora, gracias a Dios, pudimos ir a hacer las compras que no fue f谩cil tampoco porque no encontramos todo en un mismo lugar, tuvimos que ir a muchas ferreter铆as y tiendas del hogar y al final conseguimos las cosas en 3 partesca diferentes.
Estaba necesitando comprar los herrajes para el inodoro, adem谩s ten铆a que comprar el grifo del ba帽o de lavamanos, el tubo del drenaje que se hab铆a da帽ado y quer铆a cambiar tambi茅n todo lo que es cifon y tubos del desag眉e.
The toilet was easy鈥攊n fact, my son Mat铆as did it because I was busy with other things, and it wasn't much of a problem, but the faucet was a bit of a hassle because the spouts he brought were too short; we had to connect the siphon tube, and the faucet also had a mounting mechanism that gave us quite a bit of trouble. We spent about two days on that because we had to buy new spouts, but in the end, everything is installed and working.
We still have an electrical issue to resolve in the bathroom, but we鈥檒l take it step by step.

Lo del inodoro fue f谩cil, es m谩s, lo hizo mi hijo Mat铆as porque yo andaba ocupado con otras cosas y no dio mayor problema, pero lo que se nos complic贸 fue lo del grifo porque las canillas que trajo eran muy cortas, hubo que empatar el tubo del cifon y el grifo tambi茅n ten铆a un mecanismo para fijarse que nos dio bastante lidia y estuvimos como dos d铆as en eso porque hubo que comprar las canillas, pero al final todo est谩 instalado y funcionando.
Del ba帽o nos est谩 quedando resolver un problema el茅ctrico que hay, pero ya iremos poco a poco con eso.
My wife is obsessed with the kitchen renovations鈥攚e鈥檙e buying things little by little鈥攂ut she鈥檚 a real perfectionist and also indecisive, and she鈥檚 changed that kitchen way too many times. I don鈥檛 get involved in that 馃ぃ; I just do what she asks and leave it at that, because she鈥檚 going to change things again all the time anyway.
We鈥檝e already bought the paint for Miranda鈥檚 room and the air conditioner, and we talked to the carpenter about moving the hallway door so she can move into her room, but we鈥檙e going to get started on that this week and try to have it ready before I have to go back to work.

Mi esposa est谩 montada en los cambios de la cocina que son cosas que vamos comprando poco a poco, pero ella es muy perfeccionista y tambi茅n indecisa y ha cambiado esa cocina demasiadas veces y en eso no me meto 馃ぃ, le hago lo que me pide y la dejo porque igual ella vuelve a cambiar cosas a cada rato.
Ya se compraron las pinturas para el cuarto de Miranda, el aire acondicionado y hablamos con el carpintero para mover la puerta del pasillo y que ella se pueda mudar a su cuarto, pero esta semana es que nos vamos a poner en eso y tratar de tener eso listo antes de que me toque volver a trabajar.
