This week's theme is - Free Theme.
And I decided to show you woodpeckers.

Great spotted woodpecker.
A common bird for everyone, it is often found everywhere and at any time of the year.

White-backed woodpecker.
This woodpecker is less common, and is very fond of difficult places with diseased and fallen trees.

Lesser spotted woodpecker.
This nimble shorty is small in stature, size like a sparrow. And unlike the big woodpeckers, he pecks at the bark on the branches of trees.

Three-toed woodpecker.
This woodpecker is very rare, especially in the last 5 years it began to appear extremely rarely and only in autumn or winter. As the name suggests, he only has three toes.

Grey-headed woodpecker.
And this woodpecker, on the contrary, began to appear more often, and it is easiest to meet him in early spring. It used to be extremely rare.

Black woodpecker.
A real big buddy with a beautiful stylish plumage.

Eurasian wryneck.
Yes, this small bird also belongs to the woodpecker family, even though it does not peck trees and leads the usual life of an insectivorous bird.
