I am happy to post the nice bird from our garden, the Asian Koel, a beautiful bird from our Indian garden.
The thirsty bird every day comes around 2- 3 PM to get its water. It is very shy in the beginning. But after it became very friendly, as it knew there was no harm. Asian Koel, the poetic bird in my mother tongue, is known for its very romantic call. The way this bird sings is very pleasant. In many love songs, this bird is mentioned as the symbol of inspiring love in lovers. The bird is very common in our garden and surrounded area. It is from the cuckoo family. The male has very bright, shiny blue black wings and a long tail. The bright ruby eyes and red tongue show that its beauty is amazing. Making sound ku-ooo or ko-el . The female is gray in color with heavy white spots and stripes on her wings and feathers but her eyes and tongue are the same as the male. Female song is kivk, kivk kvik. We see them both at least3-4 times a day. our day starts with hearing the nice song of the male Koel. we are glad for that.
Thank you for community leaders, and you all
