It's not easy to spot a chipmunk in the summer. I often hear them when I'm walking along a path; they make a characteristic sound, clearly signaling the approach of danger - me. But the animals themselves are hidden by the dense vegetation.
Besides the forest, they also live in the old cemetery, where they always have food. Along with berry bushes and thickets of grass seeds, people visiting the graves traditionally leave various treats such as cookies or candy.
With the arrival of autumn, chipmunks begin to actively stockpile food, carrying everything they find back to their home.
